Hello, let me tell you a little about me...
I am Noel Lockyer-Stevens, At present I live in Verwood, Dorset in the UK. Performing heartfelt ceremonies and providing compassionate support services in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, I also travel to where ever people want my services.
When I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister (a minister who supports people of all religious and non religious beliefs) I took a lifelong vow to serve others and myself for the creation of joy and happiness within our daily lives through recognition and gratitude for the blessings we see around us everyday. In short I help people to keep their glass half full and not half empty.
I recognise that we all respond to love and the desire to live in a loving and peaceful world. That is why I am not a religious minister, but a minister interested in the Inner Faith of others and want to offer heartfelt ceremonies and compassionate support to all I meet.
I am privileged to perform a range of spiritual ceremonies including marriages, funerals, child namings, rites of passage and coming of age ceremonies for people who want to connect with their faith or belief.
No matter what culture or upbringing you are from, or whatever religious belief or non religious belief you may have I can produce a ceremony that reflects who you are as a wonderful human being.
As a compassionate companion I work closely with people who are looking for direction or guidance to allow them to connect with the inner joy and happiness that is within us all. I do this by helping people to identify the burdens that hold us back from being happy. These might be things we have carried since childhood, such as "I am not good enough to be happy" or "I am alone and afraid" or "I have done wrong in the past and must suffer for it now".
All support is undertaken in confidence with the privacy of my client being of paramount importance. I can support you either in a face to face session, or by telephone, or via Skype for video calls.
I work with organisations to provide pastoral support to clients, patients, staff and volunteers of all
beliefs (including people who have humanist beliefs). Again this involves deep listening to what people are saying (and not saying) regarding their spiritual (and non spiritual) journey and helping people to overcome concerns or needs about faith, spirituality, family, relationships, work, lifestyle or anything else people want to discuss. This work is undertaken in a confidential way to preserve the privacy of all people who approach me as a chaplain.
In addition to the above I provide business support to small charities and organisations that require management and administration expertise. This may include undertaking fundraising, writing grant applications, maintaining databases, accounts and other important but time consuming duties that many charities do not have the time or the in house expertise to manage themselves.
